As I was driving back from dinner one night along the coastal road of a Greek island, I turned the corner and felt my breath intake sharply. I pulled over so I could stop and contemplate the glory of the moonlight as it danced and shimmied in silvery footsteps over the Mediterranean sea.
It was a powerful activation that will stay with me forever and this painting, Midnight Light, recalls the atmospheric magic of this moment.
