Rock Shore is an original abstract seascape painting on heavyweight paper inspired by maritime life on a Greek island. I love the rich surface texture of this painting in which watery mark-making hints at seaweed and scraping into wet paint has revealed earlier layers, as if rocks and hidden treasures partially covered by the sea.
