Shape Shifter
Shape Shifter is a joyous abstract painting with a contemporary feel. A celebration of rainbow colours in warm tones - rich golden egg-yolk yellow, a perfect orange blending into coral red and magenta which hum against the cool accents of deep purple, sapphire blue and lime green.
I enjoyed playing with contrasts in this painting to create interest and variety. Look for: warm against cool, transparency against opacity, thin versus thick, controlled hard edges and loose soft edges.
